Below you will find answers to questions we typically receive.

WHAT ANIMALS CAN I HUNT WITH LONGTAIL OUTFITTERS?

We offer guided hunts for mountain lion, Shiras moose, whitetail deer, black bear, elk, mule deer, and predators, such as bobcats.

HOW DO I GET THERE?

If traveling by air, the closest international airport to our lodge is located in Spokane, Washington. We suggest you arrive on Sunday, hunt Monday through Saturday and depart on Sunday. It is approximately a 1 hour 45 minute drive from the airport to the residence in Sandpoint, Idaho. Your guide can pick you up for $300 roundtrip.

WHERE DO I STAY?

Hunting guests stay in our cabins on the property in Sandpoint, Idaho. However, if you prefer to stay in a hotel  there are multiple options in Sandpoint, Idaho area.

WHAT GEAR DO I NEED?

The gear needed will vary based on the specific hunt selected. We provide our hunters with a checklist of items to pack prior to their trip ensure you have everything you need when you arrive.

CAN I BRING A PERSON WITH ME?

You are more than welcome to bring someone with you to share your experience. There is a fee of $1,000 for an additional person.
